Privacy, in plain language

Last updated: 24 October 2026. MyPath is a small learning app. This page says what we collect, what we never do, and how to delete everything.

What we collect

• Your email — to send you a login link and to keep your account yours.
• Your name — only if you give it. It shows on your certificates, and nowhere else.
• Your age band and level — only if you pick them on the waitlist or at signup. They help us point you at the right starting step.
• Your progress — which steps you finished, which you placed out of, and which paths you completed, so your progress follows you between devices.
• Your ratings and notes — stars and feedback you choose to leave on lessons, and notes you write for yourself on a lesson.
• Child profiles — if you are a parent, the name and age band (3–5) of a child you add under your own account, plus that child's progress. A child's profile lives only under your account.

What we never do

• No ads. No selling your data. No sharing it with anyone else.
• No social feed, no followers, no public profile of you.
• We never collect a child's email address — child profiles have no email at all.
• We never collect your location, your contacts, or anything from your device beyond what you type into MyPath.
• Lesson videos play from YouTube. YouTube may set its own cookies when a video plays — that is YouTube's privacy policy, not ours.

Children

Kid paths (ages 3–5) are used through a parent's account. A parent creates the child profile, controls it, and can remove it. We do not create accounts for children and we do not contact children directly.

How long we keep it

As long as your account exists. Login links expire after 15 minutes and work once. Sessions last 30 days, then you sign in again.

Delete everything

To delete your account — your email, name, progress, finishes, ratings, notes, and any child profiles under it — email hello@mypath.live from the email on your account and say "delete my account". We will confirm once it is gone.
