Terms of service, in plain language

Last updated: 25 October 2026. Version 2026-10-25. MyPath is a small, free learning app. These terms are the agreement between you and MyPath when you use it. If you do not agree, please do not use MyPath.

What MyPath is

MyPath is a set of free learning paths. Each path has a finish line you can prove — a song played, a conversation held, a budget kept. The lessons are videos embedded from YouTube and Vimeo. MyPath does not make the videos and does not own them; they stay their creators', and we show them here with credit. Your progress, notes, stars and finishes are kept under your account so they follow you between devices.

Using MyPath

• Learn for yourself. MyPath is for your own learning.
• Do not abuse the service: do not try to break it, flood it, or use it to bother other people.
• Do not pretend to be someone else.
• Children use MyPath through a parent's account, and the parent is responsible for their child's use.

Your stuff

The notes, stars and stories you write are yours. MyPath only stores them and shows them as you direct — in your app, on your certificate, or in the gallery if you choose to share a finish.

The lessons

The videos belong to their creators. MyPath embeds them with credit so you can learn from them here. Please watch them here for learning; do not download them or pass them off as your own.

Your certificate

Finishing a path gives you a certificate. It is a record that you finished the path — not an accredited qualification, a diploma, or a licence.

The gallery

If you choose to share a finish in the gallery, you give MyPath permission to show your first name and your story on the public gallery page. That permission lasts until you ask us to take the share down, or delete the finish, the child profile, or your account. For a child, a parent or guardian gives that permission on the child's behalf. MyPath shows shared finishes on the gallery page and nowhere else, and the owner reviews every share before it appears.

Accounts

One account per email. Your login link is yours — do not share it. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Children do not get accounts of their own; they learn under a parent's account.

Free, as-is

MyPath is free, and it is provided as-is. We cannot promise it will always be available, that every video will always play, or that any path will get you a particular result. MyPath is not liable for things that go wrong while you learn — the service is free, and the most we can do is fix the service.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. When we do, we change the date and version at the top of this page. If a change is big, we will say so on the site.
